The international iPAD consortium investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) and other primary antibody deficiencies. By integrating genomic, epigenomic, transcriptomic and proteomic data, the project aimed to improve disease classification and diagnosis and to identify new approaches for personalized treatment. The Grimbacher Lab contributed patient cohorts as well as genetic and transcriptomic analyses to the project.
